The Joseph M. Day Company was founded in 1949, providing the engineered sale and service of natural gas and oil-fired combustion systems, related equipment and controls. Our skilled technicians build systems, while installing, inspecting and servicing major manufacturers’ systems. Our customers are primarily in Michigan.
Starting with two employees, Joseph M. Day and an assistant, we have grown to include sixteen employees as well as close working relationships with third party advisers and suppliers. Our facility covers 7000 square feet with offices, shop, and warehouse. Our products and natural gas and oil-fired combustion systems services have diversified over the years, as has our broad customer base. Our strength lies in this diversity and the ability to provide service and a wide range of unique solutions to the ever-changing needs of our customers.
In 1975, the Joseph M. Day Company was purchased by Banner Engineering & Sales, Inc. Banner Engineering & Sales, Inc. was formed in 1959 to design and manufacture electric pipe heating systems for national and international customers. Today, the two groups operate under the registered DBA’s of Joseph M. Day Company and Banner-Day. The company provides process boiler and combustion systems services to users in a range of markets including:
